Introduction

This page describes the intended path of development for the OpenH323 and OPAL project as seen by the author. It is intended that this describes a consensus view of the "core" or "principal" developers.

This document will be changed as necessary to reflect any changes that may occur from time to time. It is intended to give a "big picture" view of the intended development path, and will provide broad goals and objectives rather than low level details.

Where possible, dates will be specified. Unless otherwise specified, any dates are to be considered "flexible" based on the resources and available time of the people involved.

The Free Software and Open Source Telephony conference held by the German Unix User's Group as been the venue for many discussions regarding the milestones for OpenH323. Copies of the presentations for 2004 and 2005 can be found here:
